On June 27, 2024 a proud man walked through the heavenly light with finally no pain, no regrets and no sorrow. As he entered this peaceful domain, he was greeted surely with open loving arms by his mother Isabell and father Seeley, as well as brothers Ronnie and Allen. This special man was known as A. Seeley Jennings, age 78.
Although we here on earth who loved him and respected him were left with broken hearts, we know that when our time has come to be that we will also seek this guiding light and he will be there as one of our greeters. Till then, Seeley leaves a ring of hearts which include but not limited to his devoted wife of 45 years Bernadette, his children Jason, Marlene and Ronnie, grandchildren Jacob, Tyler, Jimmy, Alex, Olivia and Ronnie, Great-Grandchild Mileena, brother Kevin and sisters Marlene and Tami. He was also the proud uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Seeley’s many legacies include being superintendent for over 34 years at Lakeview Cemetery and Grove Cemetery for over 8 years. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a lifelong member of Miamogue Yacht Club where he served as Commodore for 6 years. He was a generous man we cannot deny who had a deep passion for his cars and antiques. His life was full of accomplishments which he was proud of, and we know as he was greeted, he carried these with him as the onlookers beamed with joy to have him.
Finally in our last thoughts Seeley will be waiting for Bernadette, his loving wife and their dog T.T with a glass of scotch, a good cigar and a Cosmopolitan for her.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 10th 10:00 AM at St. James Church; 2110 Main Street, Stratford. Following the service Military Honors will be performed. To sign an online register, send flowers or get travel directions, please visit FrankPolkeandSonFuneralHome.com
