Gerzson Karoly "Gary" Dicso, age 75, of Fairfield, husband of the late Patricia Pinckney Dicso, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Born and raised in Bridgeport, son of the late George and Elizabeth Szeman Dicso, Gary had been a Fairfield Town resident for many years. Gary was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, serving in the Vietnam War. He had worked as a crane operator for Feroleto Steel for many years until his retirement. Gary was a devout Catholic, a longtime parishioner of St. Emery Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector, he sang in the Church choir and was a willing volunteer for any church function. He will be remembered as a humble hard working family man.
He will greatly missed by his children, Derek Dicso and his wife Vera of Stamford, a daughter Veronica Post and her husband William of Newtown, grandchildren, Sofia and Mia Caurant, Isabella and Charles Dicso and Connor Post. He also leaves behind a brother Louis Dicso and his wife Alice of Shelton.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 27th 11AM at Church of the Holy Spirit; 403 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford, CT.
