Lynn E. Hardiman

Lynn E. (Chase) Hardiman, age 78, beloved wife of Thomas Hardiman Jr. of Shelton passed away on July 12th, 2024.

She was born in Milford, CT on July 15th, 1945 to the late George M. Chase and Alice R. Ryan. Growing up in Milford, she attended Johnathan Law High School. Her green thumb led her to many Horticulture jobs including at Glenn Gate Company, John Geiger Horticulture Services, Lexington Gardens and Monroe Turnpike Nursery.

Besides tending to her garden, she enjoyed quilting, caring for her home and usually deep into a political discussion with family and friends.

In addition to her husband Tom, she is also survived by her brother Earl, Children Eileen, Thomas and Catherine and grandchildren Samentha, Thomas, Andrew, Ryan, Colin and James.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 18th at St. Lawrence Church in Huntington at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Stratford. Calling Hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7 PM at Frank Polke & Son Funeral Home; 39 South Benson Road Fairfield.
