Michele Beck

Michele Beck, 79, of Fairfield passed away peacefully on January 30, 2024. She is the beloved wife of 60 years to Melvyn W. Beck.  Michele was a devoted homemaker who always opened her home to whoever needed it.  She enjoyed her trips to the casino, and was a devoted Tassel Bowler for over 30 years. She was proudly a “one drink wonder” and enjoyed going to 1950’s dances, watching butterflies and birds, or doling out words of wisdom to her friends and family. Her greatest joy came from being with her family as she always reminded them: “Love you to the moon and back”.

In addition to her husband, Melvyn, Michele is survived by her children; Tina and Matthew Schumacher, Lora and Jeffrey Niro, Melvyn Beck and Dora Lappin and Susan Beck. She also leaves her treasured grandchildren; Tiffany, Stephanie, John, Brittany, Samantha, Tyler, Rebecca, Zachary and Lila. She was blessed with three great-grandchildren; Savanna, Julian, and Dakota as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was predeceased by her mother, Ilona, 3 brothers and a sister.

Friends and family may visit at the Frank Polke and Son Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd, Fairfield on Sunday from 3-6 PM. A Funeral service will be held Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
