Nancy Uhrynowski

Nancy E. Vetrosky Uhrynowski, age 74 of Shelton, beloved wife of Paul T. Uhrynowski, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Born in Bridgeport, September 11, 1950, daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Antal Vetrosky, Nancy had been a Shelton resident for 52 years. She had worked as an administrator for the Robert Half Temp agency until her retirement. Nancy enjoyed caring for her home, gardening and crocheting. She loved animals and especially liked cooking her Hungarian specialties for her family and friends to share. A loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to Paul, her husband of 52 years, Nancy leaves behind her children, Paul T. Uhrynowski Jr. and his wife Elisa of Shelton and Amie Gezer and her husband Bugra of New York City, her precious grandchildren Luke and Robin Uhrynowski and Ayla Gezer as well as a brother, John Vetrosky of TN. 

Her children would like to express their gratitude for the care provided by Hartford HealthCare at Home Hospice, especially Nurses Brian J, Kristina and aides Ailane and Michelle. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 10:00 AM directly at St. Anthony of Padua Church on South Pine  Creek Rd, Fairfield with burial to follow in Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield, Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 pm in the Frank Polke & Son Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield.
