Patricia Ann Pinckney Dicso, age 72 of Shelton, beloved wife of Gary Dicso, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25th with her loving family by her side.
Born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Henry and Veronica Sadowski Pinckney, Patricia was raised and lived in Fairfield for many years before moving to Shelton several years ago.
She had worked for the Fairfield School system for nearly 20 years until her retirement. Pat was a devout Catholic and a dedicated parishioner of St. Emery Church where she sang in the Church choir, taught Sunday School and helped with the St. Emery CYO. She enjoyed baking for the holidays, playing bingo and more than anything loved the time that she spent with her family. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed.
In addition to Gary, her husband of 41 years, survivors include her children, Derek Dicso and his wife Vera of Stamford and Veronica Post and her husband Will of Newtown. Grandchildren, Sofia, Mia, Isabella and Charles Dicso and Connor Post. She leaves behind her brothers James Pinckney and his wife Mary of Mount Dora, Florida and Garry Pinckney of Newburg, Pennsylvania, a sister Jane Werthmann and her husband Sandy of Milford as well as several nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her brothers Henry A. Pinckney and Robert Pinckney.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 12 at 10 am in St. Emery Church, 838 Kings Hwy, Fairfield.
