Shaaron Frances DeNitto

Shaaron Frances Martin DeNitto, age 81 of Bridgeport, beloved mother of Joseph, Jeffrey and Christopher DeNitto, passed away on Monday, January, 6th 2025 with her loving family by her side.

Shaaron was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late George and Rachel Argonese Martin and had been a city resident for most of her life. She had worked for the family restaurants DeNitto’s Villa and DeNitto’s Pizza then for Coleco Vision, Cooper Marketing then Corporate Express as sales administrator until her retirement.

Shaaron was a loving mother and grandmother enjoying the times that she spent with her family. Her days were spent at Seaside Park with her kids and beach buddies. She also enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her family and friends, playing bingo and more than anything spending time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her children, Joseph DeNitto Jr and his wife Cindy of Orange, Jeffrey DeNitto and his wife Vicki of Stratford and Christopher DeNitto of Bridgeport, a brother John Martin and his wife Megan of Florida, her precious grandchildren Deanna Mendoza (Ben), Ralph DeNitto, Arianna DeNitto, Michael DeNitto, Michele Bouve (Dakota), Alexa DeNitto and Danielle DeNitto, great-grandchildren Anthony and Sebastian. Mrs. DeNitto was predeceased by her former husband Joseph DeNitto Sr.  and her son Ralph DeNitto.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 4-7 pm in the Frank Polke and Son Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield with a prayer service to be held at 6:30 pm with the Very Reverend Fr. George Coca officiating. A burial will be held privately. All arrangements are in the care of the Frank Polke & Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition or the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
