Sharon Lynn Quintiliano

Sharon Lynn Satmary Quintiliano, age 78, loving wife of Lawrence George Quintiliano, passed away on August 5th, 2024 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Bridgeport and raised in Fairfield, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Satmary and Elizabeth Lapis Satmary, and niece of Bertha Lapis. Her family were founding members of the historic St. Emery's Church in Fairfield, where Sharon graduated with their first elementary school class, was married and attended Bingo every Thursday night. She graduated Andrew Warde High School in 1964 and began working at Read's Department Store shortly thereafter.  

Sharon was a resident of the Town of Easton for 48 years and had worked at the Disney Store at Trumbull Mall until her retirement. She enjoyed shopping, loved traveling and never missed watching a N.Y. Giants game. But nothing was more important to her than her family, especially her pizza and Peroni date nights at Frank Pepe's with her husband and their trips to Walt Disney World (Donald Duck was her favorite).

In addition to her devoted husband Larry, Sharon is survived by her daughter Jill Kuen and her husband Michael of Fairfield, and her son Jason Quintiliano and his wife Pamela of Westport. She is also survived by her grandchildren Taylor Kuen, Laszlo Quintiliano and Lucas Quintiliano, as well as many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 12th at 11:30 am directly at St. Emery Church, 838 Kings Hwy, Fairfield with entombment to follow in Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4-8 pm in the Frank Polke & Son Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield. Memorial contributions may be made in Sharon's Honor to the American Red Cross.
